Never Too Old......

.....to enjoy a good re-telling of a fairy tale, so after our Chinese take-out , Gina and I enjoyed our root beer floats ans we watched the movie "The Glass Slipper" with Leslie Caron, Michael Wilding, Estelle Winwood, Elsa Lanchester and Amanda Blake, among others.  I am sure that you will know which of the fairy tales in the book I have shown you was the inspiration for this movie.  The other reason that I have included the book is that Gina actually met  the man who illustrated the book with the fabulous drawings like the one you see on the front cover. And, yes, we have coffee after our floats to help warm us up again!
