Glenfinnan viaduct

Dull day again today. Saw the Eiders and a seal in the harbour before we left Mallaig. The Bogmeister's knee was much better today although still sore.

We took the old road along past the lovely beaches and then along to Glenfinnan. We walked up to the viaduct and then to the monument in memory of Bonny Prince Charlie first raising his standard to try and claim Scotland again.

Went on to Fort William and there was a layer of cloud above Ben Nevis - not one of the fifteen days a year it is clear. We stopped at Craft and Things at Ballahulish for coffee.

Now home unpacked and washing on and back to the usual routine.
