Amaryllis Time......

This past week it seems the Amaryllis have all bloomed, collectively.  There was nothing else to do today because it was cold, breezy and drizzly, at the same time.   I had gotten an idea last week to make a collage of these dramatic flowers.   But I couldn't get all of the photos.  
     I hopped in my car and drove to all the places I had scouted out the flowers.  With the window rolled halfway down and moving the car over some of the lawns, I was able to capture the colors.    The orange flowers didn't come out, I guess because the skies were gray, but the reds came through vibrant and beautiful.
