My first birdfeeder

COME AND GET IT!!!!!!!

This deceptively simple design was made devilishly difficult with the inside baffles designed to keep the seed from pouring out the holes. I finally got it figured out, and the assembly was finished on Sunday. I made a poor choice for birdseed, however. Although this is premium Songbird manna, the feeder was designed for larger sunflower seeds, and (to my horror, then gut-wrenching laughter) most of the seed simply poured out the open portcullis. Here's what's left, ready for the hordes to descend.

Oh, and except for the pegs, the rest of the wood is from reclaimed shipping pallets. I loved the already-weathered look!
