Disintegrating

It's been so long since it rained, it felt quite strange. Fresh, damp, sodden. After the snow melted and temps increased, it has been dry. I fiddled with a plastic bag, trying to keep the camera dry.

I thought to capture raindrops making circles in the water, but it was very dim and I had to increase iso to get the shutter speed up.

In the end I preferred this image of a stump almost rotted away. I gave it a dark treatment which seemed to suit the mood of the day.
