Patio Crocuses

With another morning of hazy sun, but the forecast of rain tomorrow and Thursday, I wandered lonely as a cloud eccentric old lady amongst the carpet of crocuses in the Meadows, hoping to catch them open to the sun before they get water logged and dispirited.

I blipped the purple, the yellow and the striped white in profusion, and then in the end, chose the little bunch of white ones I planted 2 years ago which nestle in the grass at the edge of our patio.

My wander was after a stressful visit to the flat pack emporium to purchase a bookcase to add to the existing ones behind The Door. Because of the size and the weight, it will be delivered next week.
However his Lordship has decided that since it is slightly narrower than the existing ones it would look better in the middle of the other two.

To do this he is in the process of emptying the latter in order to shift them into their final position. Apart from removing all the books, he has small battalions of soldiers to disband and the reform into their new fighting positions.

I am keeping out of the way, and although there has been little sound emanating from behind The Door so far, the situation could escalate at any moment.
