Blossom Time

The trees and shrubs are bursting into life now, with blossom appearing as I took my walk up onto the ranges.  I believe this to be the blossom of the Blackthorn, a tree found in hedgerows and scrub land lasting up to 100 years and traditionally used for making walking sticks or shillelaghs in Ireland.
