Getting the sparkle back

Easter Craiglockhart Hill

From Wester Craiglockhart Hill, with K. Since lockdown started I've been up Easter Craiglockhart Hill several times, but this was my first time up Wester Craiglockhart Hill. Going up both hills made a pretty good walk and next time we might take in the pond too. The golf course grass is clearly growing although the trees still look wintry. We were accosted by a woman with a clip board when we tried to take a short cut at the end of the golf course which didn't actually involve walking on the course at all. We gave in, although I don't think she was right in refusing us access. Maybe walkers got used to walking over golf courses while golf was forbidden and golfers are now fighting back.

Afterwards K made scones, pretty successfully, despite my aspersions! All-in-all it was a virtually covid-free day as K and I are somewhat loosely bubbled, in that neither of us is bubbled with anyone else. It was good to be in someone else's home, especially as cafes etc are still shut.
