The Clash

Feathers flying the two male pheasants clashed like titans lunging with talons, jumping and ripping beakfuls of plumage from each other, then, to get their breath back they would part and skulk down in the grass to face each other warily. Not for long though as it would start over with the same ferocity balling up in a melee, each bird looking more and more dishevelled at every skirmish. Just when I thought it was all over when one walked away the fight would suddenly start up again and again.

Who the winner was I've no idea as both were left standing and tottered off.

On a big screen you can see the bird on the left with a substantial beak of his opponents feathers, claws out really fighting furiously.
