Skimmia

What a cold day it has been. On our fairly short and brisk walk, I spotted this fine specimen of a Skimmia japonica in a garden. The flowers are fragrant and the berries from last year are an added bonus.  

We passed the horse in yesterday's blip, and today  he was back in his winter over coat!
