CROCUS?

I woke up to a bit of snow this morning...but yesterday it was pretty nice. My neighbor's flowers are beginning to show up. I think this is a crocus but I've not seen any yellow ones before. Anyone out there who knows more about domesticated flowers than I do, please correct me.
