ICE SHOVES

As I mentioned in yesterday's Blip, I would be traveling along the Lake Winnebago shoreline  again today in search of BIG ice shoves. The high winds last night were promising that they would be there awaiting me and my camera.
~
But Mother Nature threw a curve ball and the overnight temperatures fell to about 20°F. (-6.7°C.) so, instead of breaking ice, she was making ice. No big shoves today as much of the lake re-froze.
~
So, to keep my promise, I am back Blipping several shots from previous years that will serve to illustrate the normal nature of things along the shoreline in the Springtime.
~
I will likely venture north again in a few days if the temperatures warm a bit and the winds howl once again.
