which apparently many people do not know how to pronounce.

It has an epenthetic vowel (one that is not written but pronounced) between the L and the B and so is al-a-pa (the B sounds more like a P) not al-ba

So regardless or your politics you  can at least now say the new party name properly

People who like me are from Glasgow will be familiar with this when talking about poems or films.
