Still Rockin'

Charlestown

Firstly, I'd like to thank all you lovely blippers for the all the messages I received yesterday on the occasion of my 100th blip, it really was great to read your comments.

Today we returned home from Cornwall, calling in on the way at Charlestown for a photo opportunity. We also had lunch there but after all the good food that we've had over the last few days, we won't say too much about that. It's hard to know how a jacket potato can be so badly cooked!

It's a pretty little port which was developed in Georgian times and is largely undeveloped. It's privately owned and is the home to a couple of old sailing ships which are used on film projects, as indeed is the port having been used in Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland', a fairly recent 'Dr Who' episode with Matt Smith and also Poldark and Hornblower episodes. More info here if you want it.

It's been a good trip but it's always good to be home again.

David
