Female Osprey Return

No, I've not broken the travel rules as I taken a screen shot from the marvellous live webcam footage at the Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre and Wildlife Reserve near Dunkeld. I am usually there at this time of year with my camera. From late March to late August, a pair of breeding ospreys is a star attraction nesting just 150 metres from the well equipped hides with viewing telescopes. Of course, it is not open at the moment but you'll find a direct link to the webcam  on their home page
The female osprey (known as NC0) returned on 25th March on World Osprey Week and was immediately greeted by resident male LM12 with some sky dancing. LM12 has returned for his 10th season and NC0 for her 2nd. Last year they moved tree and disappointedly were not visible on the webcam. However,  some judicial repair work was done by the Wildlife team to lure them back this year to their 5 star refurbished nest!
