Life in the round on a rainy day

Merry is very cosy in an ancient wooden sieve from my mother's old wooden implements collection with a soft round pillow. I saved it when we went through her things knowing it would be an absolutely perfect cat bed. Merry in a circle is toasting her little cat bones in front of the gas fireplace.

We're resting after our strenuous outside work yesterday, secretly happy for the spring rain!

This day came in cool and damp with rain soon after noontime.


All hands wary but relieved that one of us is fully vaccinated.
