“‘From the lips of children”

It dawned on me halfway through worship this morning, that all our worship leaders today were our children. That’s a big deal around here.

As often as I can I remind the people that the youth and the children are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today as well.

They have a part to play in the ongoing life of the church today, they don’t have to wait for tomorrow to take up their place in the church activities.

And that’s really who we have become as a church. Much more multi-generational, where the kids play their part as well.

That does my heart good.
