Experimenting.

I am finding I am getting slower on "the uptake" as far as technology is concerned.   You wouldn't believe that for the last 8 years of my career I taught ICT.

Having had the new phone a week or so I thought it was time I got to know the camera a little.   So I decided to try the macro on the first thing that came to hand.  Among the things in our "blip bank" is a feather which I think is probably Ostrich.  I can't think of any other bird which has such loose fluffy feathers without the barbs being locked together by barbules.

Sadly I didn't notice part of the feather had lifted up and gone so far out of focus until I got the shots off the phone onto the camera.
