Butterfly bonanza!

What a beautiful day .... it felt almost as if Summer had arrived!

Couldn't let such beautiful weather go to waste .... so once I'd got the jobs done I went out for a walk :-)

Had a wander in the little wood ..... saw a Peacock butterfly & several Small Tortoiseshell ...... this one looked a bit worse for wear!

Also found the Cowslips coming into flower .... couldn't resist including them too .... hope you like my choices :-)

I was pleased to see they had removed the picnic table from the little wood & replaced it with trees. It had mostly been used by a group of young men sitting there drinking & leaving their litter behind .... a much better idea to remove it!

The forecast is for one more day of beautiful weather .... then a return to Winter! Hopefully we might manage a bit of a wander before the supermarket shop tomorrow.

Hubby has another physio appointment tomorrow morning ..... the exercises do seem to be helping .... albeit slowly! :-)
