Speedwell

Grey mizzle eventually gave way to warm sunshine; most delightful. Himself took himself off for a hike and I have been digging. Now is the time to hoick out the creeping buttercup which runs rampant otherwise. I am just growing herbs, veg and pollinators this year. The polytunnel is looking respectable, the beds not too bad and one shall be given over to wildflowers. The wildflowers do pretty well on their own. This little colony of germander speedwell (I think) are in a small vibrant clump under the apple trees. Miranda1008 is doing her wildflower challenge again so this is my first entry; and Tiny Tuesday is neatly covered too.

And we've found someone to paint the house. He's coming down shortly for paint colour instructions! Midnight blue base, white round the windows and doors and cobalt for the doors themselves.  Nice.
