Old canal in front of old power station

The old Sankey canal - also called the St Helens canal that leads from Widnes to St Helens - or would if someone dug out the silted up bits and did something about the bits where it has been filled in and built on
In the background is the Fiddlers Ferry power station which recently shut down - so no more massive clouds coming from the cooling towers
It was getting old and was coal powered so not very green - more sort of beige mostly!

Oh - and my ebike parked by the tow path - waiting for the back tyre to be re-inflated - had to do it 3 times on that ride! Puncture proof tyres are not as puncture proof as they say!!!
