Calne Town Gardens (Saturday 27th March 2021)

The gardeners at Calne Town Council give us a variety of plantings throughout the year, and I always walk through the Town Gardens when I go into Calne. As far as I know everything planted is cultivated but some of them, for example the forget-me-nots (in Extras) seem similar to the wild varieties so maybe some will turn up in Miranda1008's Wild Flower challenge.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Martha and the Vandellas - Forget me not (recorded between 31 August 1967 and 16 January 1968)
This song about a soldier in Viet-Nam came from the Ridin' High album and was also a single A-side in 1971 the UK. The only Vandella on the track is Martha Reeves, as the backing vocals by the Andantes were dubbed in on 16 January 1968. Note the bass pattern by Funk Brother James Jamerson. I've reached the Vandellas in my Motown collection trawl and played Ridin' High at this time.
