Afternoon sunbathing

I was photographing chickadees when this robin settled in for a bit of sunbathing until he saw me enjoying the sun as well. You can see a puffed up chickadee in the extras.

I was at my acupuncturist when the Assistant Gas Inspector arrived about 4 hours later than expected. He looked at everything and said we were good to go, but said that a service person from the company that installed the 'fan in a can' compressed air gizmo should be the one to throw the switch. So, they were called and flipped the switch. Everything started up perfectly T said, so we are good to go. Finally, RELIEF. It's going to be warm tonight, but there are some cooler nights predicted still. The fan kicks on only when the boiler is on, bringing in air from outside. It's noisy, but I suppose we'll get used to it. Steam heat is noisy anyway, we don't her it really anymore, but pre-covid guests did.

One more week after tomorrow and I'll be considered fully vaccinated. What a relief!  Now to get more people vaccinated to control the variants that are a worry.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and warm with a stiff breeze in the afternoon.

All hands relieved, but wary.
