Sgwarnog: In the Field

Satellite

Fairly common, but unusual to come across during the day, this is a Satellite moth. So called, I think, because of the extra little dots attached to the larger white spots. And this was a first ever sighting for me so notable enough for a blip, despite having an attractive Peacock on Butterbur in reserve (extra).

And it seems that brings our mini-warm spell to a close - nice while it lasted.
