Crowning glory....

How posh do you have to be, to have street lamps such as these outside your house?

As posh as the Queen, actually, for this is one of her many residences.

I've never understood why she doesn't stay at Holyrood Palace (Palace of Holyroodhouse) more often. It's a very beautiful buildng - and there's a lovely cafe in the garden.......

But perhaps she too thinks the price they charge for a chocolate brownie is ridiculous, and refuses to stay there as a protest!

(Let's hope she hasn't noticed the cost of the shortbread - or she'll never cross the border again!)
