Lonely goose

On the way back from my walk this morning I passed this Greylag goose.

It was sitting on its own in the middle of a very large field. I don’t know much about goose behaviour but when I have seen them before in fields they are usually in groups of a dozen or more. Hope it was O.K.

Another nice dry day with pale sunshine but a day for putting that coat back on.
