Alp sunset

I went into the office in Zürich in the morning, and it was a beautiful walk through the market, and past the lake. I left work early, and we drove to Ahorn Alp, about 1 hour from home. We had booked a room at the very simple alp/farm which has super food. Hotels are allowed to open here in Switzerland, and overnight guests are allowed to eat there, so if you want to eat out you have to stay out!
The other thing they do here is many restaurants have turned the car parks into campervan parks, and you can have fresh restaurant food served to your van.
When we arrived, we had about an hour to walk around and enjoy the alpine vistas. It was a bit hazy, so not as clear as it could be, but still beautiful. Dinner was delicious and the staff so fun and friendly. They only had 4 rooms, so it was quiet inside the restaurant.
