Good Friday. April 2nd 2021, Wheatmoor Farm,

We had an evening walk today to see the crosses which had been erected at Wheatmoor Farm.
The light was beautiful.
Normally the churches in the area all have a joint Easter Day Sonrise (sunrise) service there early in the morning.
This is the second year it cannot be held.
In its place people are leaving painted stones at the foot of the main cross.
Standing there looking at the crosses as the sun was gradually slipping below the line of the horizon was so precious.
We met Debbie,( Blipper Mishkid )and her friend Beth,  also taking photos.
It was a lovely chance encounter!
As we walked back across the fields it had been a very memorable way to commemorate Good Friday evening.
At teatime we had a visit from our very special friend Blipper Rainette. She had brought a gift of Lamela, a tradition from Alsace of making a cake shaped like a lamb, using a mould, and a beautifully handmade card. (See extras).
Our family arrive in the morning. Apparently Sammy packed his bag on Thursday!
