A warm welcome back this afternoon for the Great Spotted Woodpecker who has been absent from the garden (at least whilst I've been here) for a while..    
It's been just 8 degrees here today. a far cry from the 23 degrees we enjoyed during the week.    We've just been out for our walks, and some playtime in the garden today.
