Happy Birthday

Mum's 93 today and with the relaxation of rules and some glorious weather, we were able to make it special.   A picnic at Rhydyronen, the station where we camped as children at the site next to the line and where Mum and Dad had a caravan there for over thirty years.   Home of many, many good memories.   Mum, an inveterate crafter, was especially appreciative of Ruth and Jamie's gifts to her today.   You must see the extra pic with Ruth's quilled daffodils in a frame and Jamie's artistic baking which was typically delicious, especially the custard slice - he makes his own flaky pastry and custard.

Between us we did quite a few other things today too and Mum, Chris and I were able to attend the Easter Vigil at church this evening.  A very special day :-)
