Fighting

The chickens on the farm can be fascinating to watch, a hierarchy of strutting, pecking, looking, and occasionally fighting, to settle a dispute.
The size and colour difference between these two, and the height the smaller bird was jumping, made for an interesting sight.
I only had my little Fuji compact with me, but fortunately it has a 4 frame, continuous shooting setting, which only just let me get this pic of the fast moving action.
As they always say on TV, no animals were harmed in the making of this blip! Fisticuffs over in 30 seconds, back to pecking at feed.
