Magnolia

I took this from the lounge window, being too soft to go out of the front door in the snow (yes - snow - you can see the little white streaks of falling snow in the picture). Magnolia flowers are attractive but they don't last long, and these are already past their best. They do at least have the bonus that we often get a second flowering in the autumn.
