Oh dear, feeble weir.

To fit the 'smooth' theme, I'd cycled to the local weir hoping to do a slow shutter shot of the rushing water. Disappointingly, it was fairly feeble, though a hopeful heron stood long enough for me to catch it near some of the water flow.
In medieval times, heron fat was popular to alleviate rheumatism. Evening primrose sounds easier to come by.
Extra: Although only a grey heron, it still wanted its picture in colour.
