Christ Church

After a couple of post-work drinks with a colleague from work via a video call, PY and I went on little stroll around the area to make sure that we got our daily exercise. On tonight’s walk we passed Christ Church, West Wimbledon. The large stained glass window was beautifully lit and the church was quite strikingly illuminated against the evening sky. I did wonder if there was some kind of event happening for Maundy Thursday. The church is “reopening, cautiously” according to its website but there were not many people around suggesting that, perhaps, there was no congregation.
