Hill 99 Culbin

It was a bitterly cold day today with strong winds and snow one minute then sunshine the next.  It feels like winter’s last blast.  We went on a walk in Culbin woods this afternoon.  It was nice when we were out of the wind in the sunshine but every five to ten minutes it would all change with the wind picking up and snow falling.  Culbin was planted to stabilise the sand dunes.  We were planning on going up the observation tower on a place called hill 99 but the repair work hasn’t finished yet.  They have benches with a poem on it which is in the photo.
