Bumblebee

Another Spring walk. Sunny but still cold for April.

Main shot is a White tailed Bumblebee.  Bombus lucorum. I am fairly sure of this although I am not very expert on bees.

Two extras.
One shows the tower of the old Copper smelting works on the shore near Jenny Brown’s Point. It is believed to have been in operation from about 1780 to 1820.

The second shows the white blossom of the splendid Blackthorn on the shore near to the tower.
