You think that's a wee van?

A funny old day. Snow on the ground first thing. All gone by coffee time.

A phone call over lunch from the slate supplier. "There's a wee van on the way to you. It'll be there in half an hour." Lunch bolted, and out of the door I go, down to the refurb house.

Then this thing turned up, backwards. Ours was the only pallet on the truck. The driver had one of those hydraulic trolleys that shift anything, He nearly got himself a hernia shifting ours.

The pallet is in the extra. I took the contents into the house, one pack of slates at a time. It took a very careful hour and a half. I took the last one home to weight it. Total shifted, a ton. Well that was good for the blood sugar!
