There's Still Snow on The Mount

Dear Diary,

Yesterday's relatively mild day meant more melting and the clear skies meant The Mount (Mount Washington) in New Hampshire was visible; it's often not.  It is still heavily snow capped and it will be some time before it melts.  I've seen snow on the top in July.  The Mount creates its own weather as you can see by the low clouds that usually surround it.  A majestic sight.  John will be here today to continue the yard work.  Today is the removal of a ton of sunflower seed shells left by the guests at the Back Porch Café this winter.  Lovely guests but not very tidy.
