Phew, Koi seems one step better than yesterday: she is now hobbling around inc. putting some weight on her bad leg, rather than just lying down or hopping. Sad to see her struggling, but I'm v. relieved that she's moving in the right direction, and she still seems very chipper.
We're mostly leaving them in their run so that Koi'll rest (and they get upset* when they're separated from each other), but we put her in the trough again today so that she could have a paddle and a wash, but she quickly got out and grazed with the others, so that seems promising.
