Matilda at Scruton Station

Scruton Station is part of the Wensleydale Railway heritage line and is a short walk from the village of Scruton which is a Thankful Village, just one of only 4 in Yorkshire not to have lost someone in WW1.

I was passing on my way to see a campsite I'm hoping to use for a Morris Minor Rally in August. The visit went well so I have a bit of planning to do.

Thought I'd give this Blip a bit of the old time feel. The station opened back in 1848 which made Matilda feel very young...
