Outside looking in! 6.25pm April 7th 2021.

Some of the days events.
Impromptu making of paper aeroplanes by the three older grandchildren at 7.30am.
Decorating them. All their own ideas.
(This was before breakfast.)
Plenty of imaginary stories about their pilots and types of aircraft.
Hangars were made with the old small occasional tables. Flights were tested with and without paper clips (which was suggested by granny! ;-) ).
We sat with them whilst they had their cereals and porridge.
Their younger sister had been up in the night and had not woken, so her parents did have a bit of a lie-in thankfully.
Mid morning. off we all went to a local playground which is never usually very busy.   It was so cold we were only there for the best part of an hour, so they could all let off steam.
After lunch, they had some "screen" time during which I went to have forty winks and woke up at least an hour an a half later!
When I came downstairs tea was already being made by grandad and their parents.
So I took the photo, having thought about what I could find, outside the back door looking in through the kitchen window.
All is quiet now, at 7.45 pm.
I am sitting at the dining table writing my blip before having another cup of tea.
We will all probably choose a TV programme to watch for a bit.
The extra is the clearing evening sky reflected in the small bistro table by the patio window.
On another note our Prime Minister Boris was in Intensive Care on this date last year fighting to recover from Covid19.
