Sheltering Daffodils

There are some lovely groups of Daffodils at the moment growing along the roadside, up against an old wall that borders Moniack Castle. This pair I think are particularly pretty, but it was hard to get a good shot of them as they were being buffeted and blown around by a strong wind today. I expect the stone wall normally protects them from the worst weather at least, as it faces South.

The sun did manage to come out at times today, but there were also lots of showers (rain, not snow now!) accompanied by the bitingly cold wind. Another daughter's Birthday tomorrow, so not sure how well I'll get on with blipping!
