Sgwarnog: In the Field

Bronze

To bring my week off to a close it was a pleasure to have a visit from Sister #1 (also known here in Blip land as @MrsRobert10).

After a socially distanced lunch in the garden we walked over to collect 13yo and 16yo and then onto the moor, where I had promised a hike up to the top for fine views and then a tour of some of of our local Bronze Age rock art.

Luckily the wind had dropped and there was plenty of sunshine so that what might have been a wintry experience earlier in the week felt instead like a nice early spring day.

Cup-marked boulders were duly found; today’s image shows one in the foreground while (l-r) Sister #1, 13yo & 16yo scan for more.
