The Narrative Beware

Snow Day

The city and the university called it a "snow day," and the weather---though not snowy at all---was indeed nasty, so I opted for staying in. Q took up her usual perch on one of the red dining chairs I've been lugging along since Portland, back in 2001. They're fairly beat up now, having survived multiple moves to Texas, New York, and now Baltimore. Those two chairs are, in fact, my oldest living possessions---everything else has either died or disappeared.
