Famous Crook View

In 1980 this view in Crook was immortalised on the cover of a book = see extra. I've been keeping an eye out to see if I can reproduce it but have worked out the the daisies and foxgloves no longer grow by the side of the road. The best I can do is daffodils and I'm posting a much deeper wider shot because the daffs are really quite splendid down our "main road", all planted by the villagers many moons ago . Maybe they dug up the daisies in the process.
