Gone fishing

Work this morning followed by a trip to pick Julie up from Metheringham was followed by an afternoon of Rugby League with 2 challenge cup matches on TV. After tea we decided to go for a quick walk to find a blip. 
The problem was it was starting to get dull and the light was fading . A quick walk by the river where we discovered this heron looking for its supper. This was the best shot not the best due to poor light , I did capture it diving in and then coming up with its supper which would have been my blip if it was a more clear photo but have included them as extras . 
Back home now for some Netflix viewing and a few beers
