Golden Plovers

Thank you for all the kindness shown to Mum's Birthday yesterday, you're a lovely bunch.

Another stunner of a day which finished with snow, which gives an indication of just how cold it was.

On a long loop of Orton Scar we saw three huge (50+) flocks of Golden Plovers... If you look carefully you might see them in this picture. Sadly I'd not got little camera with me and the phone, whilst great at landscapes is pants at zoom.

The day finished with another volunteer shift. It's perhaps a surprise to hear that there's often a lot of laughter involved. This evening wasn't one of those shifts.
