Through The Reeds

Dark skies broke for a short while late afternoon, giving brief spells of light to work with. I found it difficult to settle on a subject as the sun came and went. Sometimes looking through the viewfinder helps to isolate the bigger picture and focus in on something interesting.

A gap, a look through, only because the reeds have not yet recovered from winter, gives way to a view of the water. Gentle waves, reflections, brief patches of blue and white, soft patterns repeating. No message, no metaphor, just a moment, an experience.
