Survivors

It's not an easy entry into the world, being a tadpole.  There are a decent number of survivors though this season; largely because I made them an oasis in the middle of the marginal irises where the koi can't quite get to them. Plucky and adventurous tadpoles who wander off find life is dramatically and terminally exciting. Still, though they might be the sofa surfers of the aquatic world, we may have more frogs again this year.
