In the Mood

My buzzards were getting frisky this morning and as luck would have it I had the lens trained on them in the sky as there was a lot of calling going on.

 I never expected this though as the male came in suddenly from out of camera shot. She had sunk down low onto the bending branch which must be stronger than it looks to take their weight whilst I nearly fell out of the tent window trying to get the shots and trying at the same time not to wobble! I've never seen this before so was chuffed to bits and it goes without saying that I'll be keeping a weather eye open for their nest.
